Nemesis?!

On the contrary my lad! I really appreciate your website and actually I do read a lot of websites that have to do with some forms of roleplaying that are not so satisfactory to me, D&D is just the most 'mainstreamish' example.

The point that I was trying to make is that if when getting together people have different interests and those are left unvoiced that can bring problems to the game.

To be honest, I really like the crunchy bits! I love to play tactical games and wargames too. What I have problems with is mixing a tactical game and a roleplaying game. I always get in what I call my "roleplaying mentality" (which has a lot to do with the things I say I like in the post above) and the crunchy bits just get in the way of my enjoyment.

Thanks for the comment, I hope to see you around!

Have I found myself a new nemesis?

I never hid that I was into roleplaying for both the narrative parts and the crunchy bitsbut mostly for the cruncy bits.

In the last year I've been blogging I've discovered that some people sit at the complete opposite of my cozy place on the continuum and are looking for things that I find utterly alien.

When I discovered that they had fun doing it, I tried to understand instead of deride. So I wasn't much of a storyteller GM, but I became a better one by exchanging with people that were.

I hope I didn't piss you off too bad :)
